OMS Technologies, Inc. was founded with a single purpose: to give the professionals on the front lines of protection work software that actually fits the way they work. Rooted in the Child Advocacy Center community since day one, we have grown alongside the field — and we carry that origin with us in everything we build.

Our Story

Where CareNet ONE Began

CareNet ONE did not emerge from a generic software lab looking for a market to enter. It was born from a direct, sustained relationship with Child Advocacy Centers (CAC) — organizations doing some of the most emotionally demanding, legally complex, and operationally precise work in the country. We sat with CAC directors, forensic interviewers, advocates, and coordinators. We listened to what their existing tools could not do. We watched where workflows broke down, where time was lost, and where the stakes of a missing data point were highest. What we built was not designed from the outside looking in — it was built from the inside, with the people who know this work best as our co-creators.

The Expansion

As CAC CareNet evolved alongside the CAC community, something became increasingly clear: the challenge we had helped solve—fragmented, rigid, inadequate case management—was not unique to child advocacy.
Law enforcement agencies. Domestic violence programs. Human trafficking response teams. Foster care organizations. Adult Protective Services. Guardian ad Litem programs. Across these disciplines, professionals were facing the same frustrating reality: software that wasn't built around the way they actually work, forcing them to adapt their mission to the limitations of their technology instead of the other way around.
CareNet ONE expanded for two reasons: one, because the needs of CACs change often, sometimes due to changes in state and federal law and other times simply because the need is growing and becomes greater and expands within each center and two, because the need for a comprehensive case management system extended beyond CACs. Not simply to reach a larger market, but to bring the same thoughtful, purpose-built approach to professionals across disciplines who protect, advocate for, and serve vulnerable people every day.
Because technology should adapt to the mission. The mission should never have to adapt to the technology.

No matter how much CareNet ONE grows, we are committed to one thing above all else: never losing the spirit with which it was built. That means pricing that is accessible — not predatory — for nonprofits and government agencies, many of whom operate on tight budgets with enormous responsibilities.
